transcosmos Opens its Fourth Call Center in Sapporo

transcosmos has opened a call center in the city of Sapporo, Japan. Operations in the fourth site of the company have already begun to handle the increased business volume at the existing three centers as well as the new businesses.
transcosmos owns one of the largest call center services in Japan and MCM Center Sapporo Odori-Kita is its 23rd site in the country. The company has recognized an increasing demand for regional call centers to support businesses spread over multiple centers.
Named as MCM Center Sapporo Odori-Kita, the fourth call center functional in the city of Sapporo is located at the corner of Ekimae Dori (Street) and Kita Ichijo Dori (Street). The site at the Sapporo includes a total of 300 workstations and will be used to offer call center services to the clients.
Currently, transcosmos is providing call center services with three sites – MCM Center Sapporo Odori-Minami, MCM Center Sapporo Odori-Chuo, and MCM Center at the Sapporo train station. It is addressing this demand by setting up new facilities and strengthening its regional-oriented services. In addition, it will also help to create new employment opportunities in the region.
The newly announced site is near from MCM Center Sapporo Odori- Minami and MCM Center Sapporo Odori-Chuo. In fact it takes only five minutes to walk from MCM Center Sapporo Odori-Kita to MCM Center Sapporo Odori-Chuo and MCM Center Sapporo Odori- Minami.
Recently, transcosmos was in news when it partnered with Indonesia's Salim Group's IT company, PT Cyberindo Aditama (CBN) to establish a joint venture company called PT Transcosmos Indonesia to run call center business in Indonesia.
